The window by the pulpit commemorates members of the Shapland family, who were local landowners. Made by the London firm Clayton and Bell, it was installed after the restoration of the church in 1870. The lower scenes show Jesus as a boy at the Temple with the Jewish doctors of the law, and Jesus with Salome and her sons James and John. Above are scenes from the legends of St. James (shown as a pilgrim) and Joseph of Arimathaea (whose staff is bursting into leaf).
